I interviewed three people and feel very lucky that I choose Deborah Thurm to help me remodel my house.  Deborah helped me reorganize the entire house except for two children's bedrooms.  I had three bathrooms remodeled with new shower doors, tile and paint and one that was completely redone, one room that had mirrored walls that was transposed to a real dining room, two fireplaces that were retiled and mantles constructed for both of them, a TV room which was rearranged, new appliances for my kitchen and more. The outside of the house which was stucco is now smooth, repainted and finished with shutters. There was a new fence put around the outside of my house and Deborah helped me get started with the landscaping. 
Deborah has many attributes that compliment her great design ideas.  She incorporated my tastes in all the ideas and suggestions for the house.  She was very honest when it came to suggestions and said no when she thought something wouldn't work well.  She was always on time and incredibly reliable - always called if being only a few minutes late.  Everything was very clear and written out for my perusal with periodic updates in an easy to see composite.  She is a great advocate when it came to the people she used - she has great resources and is familiar with the work of the crews that she uses which is really helpful.  She negotiated each project with my approval and was cost conscious to the end. 
In addition, she brings with her an energy and enjoyment of watching the changes that take place. There were times when I would leave in the morning for work and come home to a completely different room.  It felt like one of remodeling cable shows which I subsequently became addicted to.
I was very grateful to have Deborah help me create what feels like a new home.​
